We didn’t do much different from these past days, but it felt pretty good! We all begin to feel that the routine is making its way into our lives. The anchor watches are… one of the few times we get to talk one-on-one with a crewmate (even though it is the middle of the night). We can learn a lot from them. For those who weren’t certified divers, we are getting really comfortable in the water. You know… when you got to play rock, paper, scissors at the bottom of the sea, you feel like a cool person! As for the others, they got to go to the beach and eat fries and ice cream. I was speaking about the routine; well, if someone had told me that we would be so satisfied with doing our laundry, I don’t think I would believe it. As well as the clean-up time… it’s our time to just yell songs like crazy. And a lot of us really miss exercising, so we find ways to do our own gym on the boat. The squats and planks we start doing before diving is so good (as we can see in the photos). Even our really cold ocean showers got their places in our pretty little routine. Everyone is finding their place on our lovable Vela except the one who can’t manage to count to 33… 😉
