Location: Underway to St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Today was a great first full day of passage!

A few highlights:
-Last night’s watch team was treated to bioluminescent glowing dolphins
-Claudia learned how to make boatmeal
-Brian taught us that bioremediation is “simple yet complex”
-Lance learned what Frozen was

Sophia and her galley crew did an incredible job with a Med bowl lunch which was followed by a few hours of super fun sail handling. Afterward, we had Oceanography where we learned about marine laws and estuaries.

This afternoon we also had our first student-led class discussion in Leadership Studies where we had a fantastic talk about the ripple effect.

The class was followed by deck showers, a couscous veggie dinner, and whale spotting during the squeeze. Conditions have been absolutely ideal so far and ‘stoke’ levels are high as we dive into our second crossing!
