Today was pretty chill unless you had the navmaster exam, so for me, it wasn’t chill. NavMaster is a long exam approx 4 hours for most, that felt like it took forever, especially number 11. After that long, tedious triple course to steer with drift and leeway problems, it was time to relax. After we were able to go get some ice cream runs, not the best ice cream out there (a nice half seafood shop half ice cream shop the girls have become loyal customers of or its competitor Roberto’s across the road), but any ice cream will do. We then cut to dinner which was great setting up until we were hit with large winds. Everyone moved the food downstairs as others yelled at the wind to try to scare it away. Others just stood there with arms wide to feel the cool winds, which felt amazing. Today was the first day eating in the salon which was very fun. It consisted of all of us squeezing together to try and all sit at only one table which was packed and fun too. It was like being in a snow day or power outage at home, everyone was laughing and having fun packed in together at one table. My squeeze question was “What is the most litty moment of your life?” with answers ranging from dueling your karate sensei to a first kiss to trips with friends and state championships won. We then a capella sang Waka Flocka to end squeeze. Slow, chill day until dinner hit, but it was super fun, which made up for the painful navmaster exam.
