Today was a pretty relaxed day. So far the crew of Ocean Star have been on the go all day everyday, so it was nice to have a day to hang out and relax. An Oceanography class took place after breakfast and then the crew had time to catch up on school work or enjoy some quality r and r. About half the crew took an adventure to the windward side of the island to check out the beach and do some body-surfing. The rest of the crew stayed on board to swim off the side of the boat and work on their literature reviews. At 1500 we hauled back the anchor and moved Ocean Star just across the bay to the location of our night dive, Pain du Sucre. We dropped anchor, went over the dive briefing and prepared our dive gear, and made the boat ready for our overnight passage to Antigua. After dinner we boarded the dinghy’s and submerged just after dark. The dive lasted about 30 mins and once we were all back on board we hauled the anchor again and headed off to Antigua.
