Location: Madeira

We started out with a 6:30 wake-up to go on a morning hike up the hills that surround the cove we are in. The hike was beautiful, with layers of volcanic rock and an amazing sunrise beaming through the clouds. When coming back to Argo, some people decided to swim back instead of taking the tenders for some extra activity. Once everyone was back on board, we had some really good banana bread made by Daisy for breakfast after the hike. Then, we had marine biology, and people were struggling to stay awake due to the earlier morning, but Anna engaged us with fish facts, and we were hooked. After marine bio, we had burgers for lunch, and the first two dive groups got ready to get in the water and do some peak performance bouncy practice by swimming under a limbo and through a square. We practiced being upside down and then came up and dried off. We ended the day with some pesto pasta and some Harry Potter with popcorn! Off to the Canary’s tomorrow!
