Location: UW to Lisbon

We woke up to rain this morning. Nothing heavy, but the temperature dropped just enough for Ellory to change from jorts to jeans and pop up on deck for watch. Down in the galley, Bryce was deep into a marching band routine, drumsticks in hand. I couldnt help but wondercan birds march too?

Elsewhere on the boat, Forbes and Ridge were watching morning cartoons on their laptop, and Jerry was on deck inventing new knots. Nate and I practiced our truckers hitch on the babaloo. Shes not going anywhere now.

During our 8-12 watch, the sun came out, and it was a beautiful day. Thankful for the clear sky, I went down below to get our sextant. Noah and I calibrated the device and took some sun sights together, calculating our position well into the Atlantic.

For lunch we had bagels with scrambled eggs and sausage. Oona put Nutella and eggs on her bagel like a weirdo, but we all got past her odd creation without judgment and had a fun extra-long lunch together that made Emma nervous and gave Mac butterflies in his tummy.

Later in the day, Poseidon brought wind and cookies for Declans birthday. Total huz move. Stellery and Oona raised the main sail for team Vela, and we are once again bound for Lisbon under the power of the wind alone! Everyone is talking about what fun experiences might be in store for Portugal.

To my family, I love and miss you all.
