Location: Virgin Gorda, BVI
I started my last day as skipper this morning, halfway through our final passage of the trip. We sailed from Saba back to the BVI, where we remained for the rest of the trip. After the end of an amazing passage and back in the BVI’s, we ventured as a group into the Baths, essentially an adult’s playground. We spent the rest of the day climbing boulders, swimming through underwater caves, and jumping off rocks 10ft in the air. It feels good to be back in the BVI’s, but it signals the start of the end. We have no more long passages, and we move to our Hurricane Mooring in Great Harbor, Peter, where we’ll remain through the end of our finals. It’s been an awesome trip; we’re sad to see it end, but it’s better for the experience.
