GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING (how I woke everyone up today)! Will here! We had a scrumptious breakfast of pancakes made by Claire and MG! After an efficient clean-up, we packed our snorkel gear and got ready to explore. Last night the Plaii (our dinghy) squad put her together. This process took quite some time and a lot of trial and error, but eventually, we got it! Gabe supervised😄 We used Plaii to get from ARGO to the dock (she was so great). We got in the back of pickups and headed inland. A quick convenience store stop later, and we headed to our first beach.

The water was so blue. There were tons of fishies and sharks! Then we went to beach numero dos. This was about 2 min away from the first one, yet it looked completely different. David and I did some beach running. We got some refreshments and continued to our third beach. It was definitely one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. After a boardwalk (a lovely boardwalk if I do say so myself😌) walk, we climbed down the side of a cliff (via ladders) to reach the bay. This was the bay of bays. Absolutely massive beach and clear waters. Emma and Tim stayed undefeated in chicken fights while others snorkeled, body surfed, and just swam around. A few of us ran some football routes with our pretend football. A smashing time indeed! I think we were there for a solid 2 hours before heading back up for lunch. We drove back into town and indulged ourselves in all kinds of tasty Portuguese foods. The sun was setting, so we decided to go to one last beach. Once we got there, Tim decided he wanted to go for a swim. I decided that Tim needed a lifeguard (me), so I joined him, and soon about half our group was in the water. The waves were big enough that there were tons of (really good) surfers, and it was a blast. Beau taught Claire and Sabrina how to do backflips on the ground. We then found out that we were going to have dinner on land at the port. Joined by Gabe, Ben, and Claire, a good time was had by all. Another brilliant day on Seamester. Some even said it was “the best day ever.”

Until next time,
Will 🙂
