Location: Underway to Fiji
Today, we awoke to Islands! After a short jaunt over from the Kingdom of Tonga, we have officially arrived in Fiji. Well, we arrived in its territorial waters. We motored past numerous Islands, as we passed one, another would rise from the sea behind it. The day wasnt all islands and sailing as those of us in the Marine Biology class took on a very strenuous test after lunch, followed by a seamanship class on VHF radio procedure. While most of us were down below, we got a beautiful breeze around late afternoon. With calm seas and a steady breeze, we get to enjoy a relaxing sail for our last run into Fiji. The sun, which had been hidden behind clouds for most of the day, made a spectacular appearance as it set. With one more round of night watches, we should be arriving early tomorrow morning.
