Location: Dominica

Today was another great day in the Caribbean. We awoke to a hearty breakfast of pancakes made by our chefs, Henry and Conor. Quickly after our morning clean up we took a short dinghy ride to the dive boat docked next to Ocean Star. We boarded a catamaran and motored south. We dove in two amazing sites with Dive Dominica. One was called the abyss. It was a fairly deep dive at 70ft down a sheer drop-off. Our second dive of the morning was a little more shallow but no less beautiful. We all even saw the famous frogfish and a sea horse! Once back on Ocean Star, we split up for shore time. Dominica is a great place and full of activity. This evening, we had six tourists join us on board as the crew and I showed off our home. For me, the best part was that all our visitors were Oregon natives. It felt great to have a full ship of Oregonians. We are taking over!
