Keith! How much does a McDonalds burger cost in rural Siberia!? This is how I was awoken for my 12am watch. They said this to me supposedly because simply shaking didnt wake me up, a confusing start to my day to say the least. After crawling out of bed, still confused as can be, I had quite the enjoyable watch. We saw wildlife and played mind twist games that drove some of us half-crazy. Going to bed at 4am made our late wake up feel like a divine blessing and we woke up to a beautiful new anchor spot. We had an exciting morning of boat appreciation (lots of scrubbing) rewarded with delicious pesto chicken wraps. The afternoon was laid back with a small study group to start on our advanced scuba certification followed by an incredible dive over a reef that bursted with color. We saw vibrant fish and swam with sea turtles. When we found an eel, Zeke thought it was electric and swam away. Finally we ascended to a sunset that cast a golden blanket over the mountain range. We did back flips off the bow and I definitely did not belly flop attempting a front flip 180. This is our last day without our phones and we are absolutely making the most of our last pure bonding time. Now were up on deck learning to make Turks heads bracelets before bed. There is truly something blissful about being disconnected from civilization.
