Location: The Baths, Virgin Gorda

Today started at about 0645 for me; at 0700, we had a wake-up call and went for breakfast. We had some oatmeal and began to prep the boat and gear for the morning dives. Once we arrived, we got in the water, practiced a few dive skills, and went down into the reef. The current today was stronger than it had been for the past dives, so we kept bumping into one another. We finished our dive and headed to Ocean Star. Upon arrival, we were all beginning to feel hungry, so we fired up the kitchen and started the fried rice lunch. After cleaning up, we made way for The Baths and boulders which took roughly 45 minutes. Everyone hastily made for the dinghy, excited to explore the island and the caverns. We soon found out just how testing it could be, swimming the few hundred meters to the shore, jumping from rock to rock, sliding down cliff faces… but all for a stunning view of the area. It was amazing seeing the clear blue water and the cloudless sky from such a vantage point. But it all faded to memory quickly as we had little time. We had to swim back to the dinghy through some rough-ish water. Once back, I taught Aidan to do a back dive, Daniel to do a backflip, and someone else to dive. We all swam around and hung out until Drew returned with the rest of the crew. We began setting up for dinner and ate breakfast for dinner, a personal favorite. Then we cleaned up and hung out on deck till everyone trickled off to bed.
