After waking from a sugar-induced coma thanks to last night’s Halloween party, we pulled up anchor and said goodbye to Morocco. With Africa at our stern, we set our sights on the Canary Islands. Settling back into watch team rotations, the day was split between meals and classes. Today, students had a geology quiz in their oceanography class, and those wishing to obtain their Yachtmaster’s degree had a PSCT class with Sam. With calm seas, students took advantage of free time by getting some last-minute school work done before the weather was expected to pick up. Sailing into the sunset, we all joined hands for the squeeze question and ate a delicious dinner of lasagna. We are all excited to have unofficially started our Atlantic crossing!
