Location: Barbuda
We woke up at six to the smell of chocolate chip and cranberry pancakes. After breakfast, we departed from English Harbour and set sail for Barbuda. Once all the sails were up, we split into our watch teams and sailed to the other side of Antigua to make our way to Barbuda. The second part of the sail was upwind and was pretty rough, but also extremely enjoyable because the conditions were perfect. We arrived at 17:30 and flaked the sails. For dinner, we had beef stroganoff and an excellent salad prepared by Jeff and Ben. After our Kum-ba-ya-style dinner, we watched Blue Planet: Open Ocean. Excited to be back on an anchor again with beautiful stars in the sky, we all went to bed early to get a good night’s rest before our beach adventures tomorrow morning. This is Max Shatzkamer reporting from Ocean Star, and it’s been another wonderful day!
