Location: Underway to Nevis

Hello Everyone!
Today we prepared for the long-awaited sail to Nevis and started our trip there! After a delicious breakfast of yogurt bowls and oats, we readied the ship, removing our sail covers, attaching the halyards that raise the sails, and putting a reef into our mainsail. We then lifted Zoe up to the top of our masts to check the rigging before our departure, which was good as new. Lunch was a delicious chili and cornbread along with the much-requested, or rather demanded, banana bread. We had an oceanography lecture with Perry and started our EFR (Emergency First Responder) class with Zoe and Perry. We discussed what to do in various medical emergencies, and thankfully no one passed out from the somewhat disturbing details. We took some very refreshing ocean showers since it was boiling out today, but we were rudely interrupted by some jellyfish (we were all ok). Dinner was a delicious pasta, and then we started our sail to Nevis. I was on night watch, and we saw some amazing stars and the Milky Way. We will arrive in Nevis tomorrow and see what new adventures for us will happen there!
