Welcome to the spooky Halloween rendition of the daily blog! Today started at 8:00 with red lights, frightening bats, ghastly ghouls, Ghostbusters, Spooky Scary Skeletons, and Thriller(s). As everyone walked into the Salon, they were greeted by many festive decorations (first pictureJames(who is mid-sneeze), Watson, Dan, and Chloe). Then we had a lovely breakfast of Peanut and Jelly Bars with a side of yogurt (second picturenearly everyone, some in costume ).
Next, half of the boat had Seamanship, where we continued to learn about plotting. Then we all had a lunch composed of pasta salad and festive spirit (third pictureLillian, Talia Chloe, Edwardo, James, Brenden, and Lukas). The other half of the boat had Seamanship (fourth pictureTheo, Big Mac, Ellis, Talia, Claire, Lukas, Dan, and Eliza), while the others had free time.
Now, what would Halloween be without costumes!? Some people came prepared, while others improvised with bed sheets, although we had a variety of characters: clowns, hula dancers, prophets, villains, and imposters (fifth picture- Theo as Tom / sixth picture- Ben as Jesse / seventh picture- Claire and Ellis as each other/eighth picture- James in his Kaftan and Watson in his Djellaba). Finally, after a dinner of tasty tacos, we celebrated Halloween with a fun party at the local bowling alley!
