We made it !!!! 10 long days later, we finally made it to St.Helena early in the morning, where two watch teams helped drop the sails and anchor Vela. Around 10, it was time to head off to get clearance from immigration and customs. Once everyone was good to go, it was time for BA(boat appreciation), where everyone from 11-4:30-ish deep-cleaned every square inch of Vela. Now that everything was nice and neat , we got the opportunity for the first ocean showers of the semester!!! All that hard work and swimming made everyone ready for dinner, where Mac cooked some delicious chicken, cooked potatoes + mashed potatoes, bread rolls, and mini cinnamon bread rolls. It was now time for a clean-up as a beautiful sunset came about. To end the day,y we had a meeting about how anchor watch works and then headed to bed for a long day to come tomorrow.
