Location: Tarragona, Spain
Its day two of passage to Spain!! Weve gotten into a routine of watches, jobs, homework, and precious precious free time. Watch team 1 (the best watch, obviously) had watch from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., where we played rhyming games to stay awake and huddled together to stay warm. It was a calm night, and we saw too many shooting stars to count. Chelsea pointed out constellations, and were all slowly starting to recognize these beautiful sky patterns. Now, I know where to find Scorpio, the Seven Sisters, the North Star, and some planets. We watched the sunrise slowly come up. I worked on some schoolwork for marine biology after watch but quickly realised sleep was my priority at that moment. Xavi made Mac and cheese for lunch with a view of the Spanish coast as we sailed. We had classes in the afternoon and then got ready to dock in Tarragona, Spain. Sienna was girl-bossing when she put the sail cover on the main staysail and was up super high while we motored into the port. We parked ourselves right next to super yachts and had an audience while we got ready to dock. Then, we all had shore time, and Chelsea, Liam, and I ran to a laundry mat to put our laundry in while we called home and hung out. For a late dinner, we met Gordon, Miles, Eric, and Wednesday and got some of the best Asian food ever. Hilary, Sienna, Greta, Sophia M., and some other girls put their laundry after us, but the dryer broke, and they had to dry their clean laundry on Argo. It was a simple and great way to finally get ourselves to Spain (my first time)!!
