Location: Underway to the Caribbean
Good morning to everyone reading. Today’s watch started off with fish on the deck, thanks to Shane and Thatcher (unlike Emily and Matt), but sadly, they were too small to keep. After my 8-12 watch, Meg made her famous chili and cornbread pancakes, which are always a hit. We had our usual classes consisting of a 4-hour lecture from Nacho (not really 4 hours), and then our leadership class, where we all had to participate in the space ship game. This consisted of Aidan handing out roles, and we all had to discuss amongst the group which people should be allowed to be sent up to space. Aidan sat there and watched everyone implode because we all felt that our roles would be necessary. Later on during the 2-6 watch I worked out while Aidan and charlie got their toes painted and had girl time with watch team 3 while Rachel got her helm-sona (please refer to day 58’s blog for the helm-sona definition). Sam was a chef again today, so there were some mishaps in the gally, but overall the meal was great. We are all getting used to this new kind of life with our watch teams. This brings me to now, I couldn’t be more grateful for the people I get to do this with and grow with. Thank you to everyone reading this, and I’ll write to y’all next time.
