Location: Underway to the Caribbean
Today was a great day. My day started at 4:00 am for watch with the best watch team (watch team 2). We played Essence and Waffle or Pancake to pass the time, and boy, was it intense. Dan was a little butthurt about being described as a low sodium wheat thin. The sea state was rough, making it difficult to helm, so Claire had to guide me for every turn. There was a point where I thought we almost crash-jibed because Claire raised her voice a tad, but later, she clarified that we werent that close. Talia made us pasta and salad for lunch, which was super yummy. After lunch, we cleaned up when James spotted a hammerhead shark! Everyone was excited to put it in their logbooks. After cleanup, we had an Emergency First Responder training and Seamanship. I really enjoyed the EFR training as it is different from our usual classroom activities. For dinner, we had IDK. Finally, my favorite part of the day: Squeeze! Since I was skipper, I got to think of a question for everyone. I picked: What is one thing you love about Claire?
