Location: Civitavecchia and Rome, Italy
Today we woke up before the crack of dawn to scarf down a quick breakfast before jumping on the train to head off to Rome. We toured the Collosseum in the morning, before walking around the historic Roman Forum. Then we split into several groups to see the sights. Some people headed to the Vatican, while others toured the Spanish Steps and the Cappuchin Crypt. After wandering the city for about 11 hours, we jumped back on the train to head back for our pizza dinner. After some planning and getting ready for the sail, we settled down for an early night in preparation for the early morning and our very first day on the water.
