Hello friends and family.
Wow, this was my first time being skipper of the day, and oh boy, did I enjoy it. Today we kicked off our day bright and early with some light tunes. After the slow wake-up, we enjoyed a yummy breakfast of biscuits and gravy prepared by Faith and her sous chefs. After setting up our dive gear, we split up into groups and headed over to a nifty site where we got the chance to explore a small shipwreck and an abundance of marine life for our second Advanced Open Water training dive. Once back on the boat, we had some relaxation and study time before lunch as we prepared for our second oceanography quiz of the semester, and we did a review for our upcoming oceanography midterm. After lunch, we got some more free time to catch up on assignments while dinner was being prepared. We enjoyed our daily jump in showers to refresh us and energize us before dinner. We ended dinner by saying our appreciation for the day and demonstrating our favorite dance moves! Now we are about to have a Seamanship class where we are continuing to learn all about charting for our NavMaster practicelooking forward to a good night’s sleep before more awesome diving tomorrow.
Until next time!
