Apply Step 1Select your voyage

Learn all you can about Sea|mester. Select your voyage, consider your cost of attendance and review the Sea|mester terms and agreements.

Apply Step 2Complete the online application form with your $50.00 application fee

The Sea|mester online application consists of five steps that will likely take about 20 minutes to complete. Please read the following to help prepare, as our system does not provide for the opportunity to save mid session.

  • Step 1: Student and Family Contact Information

  • Step 2: Voyage Selection and Personal References

    You will be asked for the email and phone number for two references. The persons you choose should be Professors, Employers, Coaches etc, NOT family or friends.

  • Step 3: Student Essay

    This portion is completed in short essay form, and will take the bulk of your time. Please consider preparing and proofreading your essay ahead of time by downloading the questions here Click to download Student Questionnaire Draft

  • Step 4: Agree to the enrollment Terms and Conditions (download a copy HERE) & submit your application fee

  • Step 5: Review & Submit

Once the form is complete, be sure to print your application form and have a parent or guardian sign it if you are under the age of 18. Mail it to us at the following address:

Apply Step 4Submit Berth Deposit

Upon receipt of your application, we will send reference requests to the individuals whom you have identified on your application, then follow up with phone calls as necessary. Once we have received your application and references, we will review your materials and can then offer a provisional acceptance into the program, pending a phone interview. Your deposit is due at this time to secure your berth aboard and proceed to the interview phase.

Apply Step 5Interview

Download and review a copy of the Student Handbook and once the berth deposit has been received, a Sea|mester admissions coordinator will contact you for the phone interview. Formal acceptance into the program is typically given after this interview. Welcome aboard!
