Today, Eduardo wrote the blog. The blog disappeared right out of his hands, so now we must discuss briefly what we did today.
For starters, tomorrow, we leave for our mega crossing across the Atlantic to the Caribbean! It’s hard to believe that it’s finally time for this passage after all the small ones leading up to this. We spent the day getting our final things on shore, such as snacks and last-minute walks around town, while we still had more than 112 feet to walk around. Emma, Claire, Theo, and Audrey also went provisoning today. Some people made some calls home as our time with unlimited data and wifi is about to dwindle away with the fall of the horizon tomorrow. We had Oceanography and Leadership classes today as well.
I think it’s safe to say there are definitely some nerves around the boat for what’s to come, but overall, everyone is excited and eager to get this passage started.
