Location: Saba

This morning began with our resident videographer from St Barts news returning, with his footage from the evening before, at 6:45 AM, chipper as ever. As USBs and goodbyes were exchanged, the harbormaster slowly fought his way over to us between his shifts, tending to the stream of super yachts and ferries entering and leaving St Barts. Once the dock lines were free, I led my first anchor pickup on both port and starboard, with the privilege of a near neon blue backdrop in the water, and a turtle swimming alongside. Throughout the day, we had a long but smooth cruise across to Saba, including an attempted below-decks class midway through, which involved a few well-being breaks. Now, I look out the charthouse window at a stark cliff, topped with rain, marking the tallest mountain in the Netherlands (apparently) as well as a steep, decrepit staircase trailing its way up its base. Here are some photos including a hose and broom POV during cleanup (some of which added much later in the photo chain because of service).
