Today was a productive boat day that flew by. We started the morning with seamanship, wrapping up the last of our work in that class. It was nice to finally wrap up everything that we learned over the past few weeks. After seamanship, we shifted into rescue diving as we work toward getting our rescue diver certification. The morning was mostly bookwork and going over concepts, followed by our test. Everyone passed, which was awesomeeeeeee. Once we got in the water for the practical portion, things got veryyyy interesting. We started working on rescue skills, which turned out to be way harder and way funnier than expected. We practiced emergency situations like panicked divers, etc. We also had to pretend to be unconscious and carry each other up the swim ladder. It was way harder than it sounds, and we were all dying laughing. Now its dinner time, and were winding down the day and working on homework. Weve got a few tests coming up, so its definitely time to get to work, but overall, it was a really good day.
