Finally, after many, many, many days at sea, we come up to the Azores. All the work and sleep-deprived nights made it all worth it the moment Kayla yelled land ho and won the bet against Calum, to which, with a heavy heart Calum had to bow his head to the greatest finding he had ever been a part of. Most of the day, we spent taking down the sails and preparing to dock. As we got closer and closer to the beautiful island we would soon reside, we were blown away by how much lush green there is in the world. Then another pleasant surprise that also got the crew excited was the object we saw in the distance that we thought was a cloud, but ms Caroline revealed it was Mt Pico, to which we responded with disbelief and turned into amazement. As we inched closer and closer to the port under Tom and Calums command, the anticipation grew, and then Tom gave the command for Dylan and me to go on land and dock the boat. As soon as I stepped foot on land, I gave the ground a passionate kiss which caused Dylan to laugh and the rest of the crew to have a good laugh. After we got the boat docked, we all celebrated and were in shock about how beautiful the land was and that processing what we all had just accomplished.
