Location: Underway to BVI
Today was a fun dive day and our last major passage day. The dives we did in Saba were super cool (the second was my favorite of the trip). We saw a lot of turtles and a shark and went under some cool archways. The second dive was my favorite because of all of the cool rock formations underwater. It was like a mini city with lots of colorful coral all around (we also got to see a lot of turtles and fun fish). When we were done with the dives, it was time to say bye to Saba and move to the BVI.
We were underway from Saba at 4:30 pm to the British Virgin Islands, where we arrived in the AM. Once we were underway, my group and I took the time to do some group research work as we were getting a little behind, but during the passage, Pirates of the Caribbean 4 came on, which we had to watch as we had been binging the series on the boat. It was perfect because the movie ended right as we needed to get ready for the watch. It was a pretty relaxing passage, especially at night, and my watch team played some fun cockpit games like Contact and Chicken or Wrench to help pass the time. By the end of watch, everyone was pretty knackered and ready to get some Z’s, which worked in our favor because once we got to BVI, there was nothing set for the day until after lunch, so many people were able to catch up on some sleep.
