Location: Charlestown, Nevis
If there has ever been a relaxing day on Ocean Star, today was that day. Besides our morning Oceanography class and our afternoon MTE classes, today’s activities consisted of catching up on sleep and work. Some students took the opportunity to go to shore to explore Charlestown, but because of the Sabbath observance, the only open business of note was a Chinese restaurant. On a more personal note, I was the student who arrived several days late. It has been a pleasure to not only meet everyone here, but also to catch up on the diving exercises that everyone else had already done. The adjustment was rushed, but I think I’m finally getting the routine down. If all goes according to plan, we should be departing St. Kitts and Nevis for Dominica tomorrow morning, on our second 24-hour passage.
