Location: Tobago Cays, The Grenadines
Our day started off pretty normal with normal music, but when you have me as skipper, you usually wake up to something more exotic like “screamo” music and yelling of some sort. After eating breakfast, we cleaned up and set our sails to go to Tobago Cays, or what I like to call them, Tomato Cays or Trivago Cays. Setting our sails took a while for everyone for some odd reason that I personally don’t know of, but in other words, we were behind schedule by an hour and a half, so it wasn’t looking good for some time. At the end of that chapter of the day, we got going, and everything ran smoothly after that. We got to Union Island, where we were cleared through customs to get to our destination to the little islands we were staying by. The afternoon and evening consisted of two things, 1. We had our first Oceanography quiz that everyone heavily studied for, along with a review of Marine Biology because we have an exam in two days and 2. IT WAS OUR CAPTAIN’S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! If I had a dime for every time we sang a happy birthday song today, I would probably have a dollar in dimes. Everyone here had a lot of fun and a couple of good laughs. Day 26 was a success!!!
