Location: Bequia
Today was an easy day spent onshore. We woke up, had breakfast, did our normal duties, attended class, and went to shore around 9:45. After we made it to shore, we went to a place called Old Hegg Turtle Hatchery. There were hundreds of turtles of all different ages and sizes. The man who ran it was an old sailor who was full of good stories. We learned more about him than we did about the turtles. But it was still a very educational experience. We finished up around 12:00 and had till 4:30 to do what we wanted. All of us stayed together and explored the small town of Bequia. Overall, today was a great day to hang out and take a nice break from the boat.
