Location: Les Saintes
The crew awoke to a sunny morning and a delicious pancake breakfast today. We waited briefly for our clean laundry to arrive from Pancho and then began to prep the boat for passage. Everything seemed to run a little quicker and more smoothly today than it has in the past, a good sign that we are all starting to really get the hang of running the ship with minimal intervention from the staff. We set sail and headed north at a fairly good pace. Although it was not very windy, we seemed to have caught a current going in the right direction, which picked up our speed quite a bit. We only arrived in the Saintes a few hours ago, so none of us have been ashore yet, but from what we can see, it looks to be a beautiful place. We all look forward to a good night’s sleep and a day of exploring tomorrow.
