Location: English Harbour

Rain rain go away come again another day!andlt;br /andgt;andlt;br /andgt;This should have been our theme song for the morning and the early afternoon. When we awoke there was a dark cloud on the horizon. After breakfast we all put on our foul weather gear and went hiking to along the outside of English Harbor to place called the Arches of Hercules. This is where the current has eroded the rocks to form a steep cliff. There is one particular sport where there are some flattened areas along the shore break that we could hike down to do. Although the tide in the Caribbean is not large at this spot because of the vertical structure of the cliff you can see some intertidal zonation patterns while looking around at the intertidal pools, the grey clouds which had been threatening us all morning finally decided to move onshore. We hiked back in the rain and then proceed to have two classes down below while the rain continued on. After lunch there was some free time to go explore Antigua. Dinner was followed by a fairly low key night. Although everybody has enjoyed their time in English Harbor I feel that we are ready to head back out to sea.andlt;br /andgt;andlt;hr width=’100’/andgt;andlt;div align=’center’andgt;andlt;tableandgt;andlt;trandgt;andlt;tdandgt;andlt;
