Audience, let me ask you a question. When was the last time you did something really nice for someone and they didn’t thank you? Last year? Last week? Maybe even yesterday? That was today’s skipper question. I was the skipper. My goal was to get some awkward tension among the crew. You see, things were going very well. Maybe too well. So, to counteract this positivity. I decided to unleash some anonymous mayhem on the group. You couldn’t say what you did or who it was. We went around the group 3 days ago 2 days ago 1 day ago TODAY. Thoughts entered everyone’s head, “was it me?”, “Who was it?” and “I hang out with this person a lot what did I do?” There was some clear eye contact between the 2 parties that being the non-thanker and the wishful thankee. Oh, what fun I had watching the oohs and ahhs among the crowd.

I haven’t been sleeping well lately. I got a meannn crick in my neck. Thats it.

If you’ve spent time in the galley recently, you might hear the sound of pistons. No, not the basketball team. The roar of a car engine. Macaire Vanessa LaBarge and Nathan Eli Segall have picked up a racing game. One day, I found him with my computer. At first, nervous about the texts of me bad-mouthing him that he may find. Nay, he was playing asphalt 8. A racing game NAY OUR racing game. We immediately made it a competition to see who could get a faster time on each track. The score is 9-2. I’m up big on him. He has time to learn, but he cannot compete with my gear changes. “It ain’t about the speed of the car but the person in the driver’s seat” -Ricky Bobby.

Today, we explored the old ruins of Tarragona!!! We toured the ruins of the horse racing track, coliseum, and cathedral. We walked to explore the caves, but alas (I have no clue how to use this word) they closed at 2:30. They wouldn’t let us in at 3:30. The nerve.

Nora and Lu explored the aqueducts and took very cool pictures. I don’t have them, but trust me they were awesome.

Short blog today. Im very tired and am waking up at 5:30 to explore Barcelona tomorrow. If only I could write the Barcelona blog and not the Tarragona free day, but alas (I have no idea how to use this word, but it sounds cool).

As per usual, no spell check or peer review. Just flow state.

Hi Mom, Dad, Noah, and Jack, and Riley,

Miss you guys. Alas (idk anymore). I’ll see you soon!!
