Hello, hello, hi. This is Tom speaking through Nora. He is currently watching The Hobbit with Mac and Nate, but more importantly, he did not come on our Barcelona excursion. We missed him.
I’ve never enjoyed waking up early, but for this day, it was definitely worth it. After catching some more honk mimimis on the train, we arrived in the center and started off our day walking around and seeing the Gaudi houses. While touring, Nate and Zoe discovered this really cool local underground coffee shop, Starbuk, and it definitely made their day. We explored a lot of amazing neighborhoods, saw a beautiful church and theatre, and then had tapas in a little courtyard.
After lunch, we had FREE TIMEEE which everyone really enjoyed. Garrett bought more shirts to add to his collection. Lucie led us to some really cool vintage shops. Shelby got a really awesome shirt, too. We then got to go inside one of Gaudi’s houses, and it was so beautiful. We then took the bus up the hill to see the parque. That was one of my favorite parts of the day. I even found a swing to swing on! After much more walking, we came to our dinner place. I had the best drink IN EXISTENCE. It was a strawberry mocktail, and I couldn’t stop sippin, lemme tell ya.
On the train ride home, Lucie, Nate, and I played many rounds of Dutch and had a grand old time. Nate may or may not have tried to cheat, and Lucie won pretty much every time.
Meanwhile, the staff worked hard on the boat while Joey studied. It sounded like a great day.
I’m really missing family and friends today, but I know once I leave, I’m gonna want to come straight back, so I’m making the most of the little time I have left.
