Hello to all! We have hit day 6 of passage, and boy oh boy have we been keeping ourselves busy. Theres been a lot of sail handling done within the past 24 hours. Last night, watch team 3 had the privilege of having a fair share of dealing with the sails. Today, we did some reorganizing of the galley, and I had the lovely job of polishing the stainless steel on deck!
After a very rocky day yesterday and playing the scavenger hunt game of finding my personal items due to some lovely wave action, we had a nice, smooth sailing day! But theres always some news to share! Our radar deflector broke, so now we have to wear an aluminum strainer on our heads so we can be detected! Yayyy! On top of that, we had marine biology today and learned about the deep-sea creaturesnot the cutest looking animals. We are also preparing for our navigation master test here in the next week!
Anyways, we are filling our time with lots of reading, journaling, telling stories, and throwing in a couple of giggles here and there. Lets just say overall, the wheels are staying on the bus!
Family and friends, I love you so much & I cant wait to talk to you in 14ish days! Happy early birthday, Dad! I love and miss you, and I cant wait to celebrate in Tahiti!🤍
Love,
