Location: Underway to South Africa in the Indian Ocean

Not much new today, just cruising along the last bits of our passage. We had a class on deck for OCE. We talked about the aquarium trade and its effects on the fish population. Class on deck was a nice change of pace, and the weather was bright and sunny. There’s a big feeling of anticipation on the boat because of our soon arrival to mainland Africa. Admittedly, the majority of this anticipation was from yours truly, but that’s beside the point. The similarities between this 12-day passage and the previous 13-day passage are striking. However, this recent passage just felt quicker. It’s probably due to everyone’s experience with traveling such great distances. Anyway, it’s nice to be getting closer and closer to land. We’ll see you in Richard’s Bay.
