Location: Mountain Pt. BVI

Dear Diary,
Today we started moving at around 6:45. Most were woken up at seven by our skipper (me). Our breakfast was prepared by our wonderful chefs: Shane, Greyson, and Alexander. They expertly crafted servings of bacon, eggs, and lots of potatoes. After we were anchored and fed, we got ready to scuba dive. We were split into groups based on our certification level, then we set off in our dinghies to our designated diving areas. During the dive, tragedy struck when Alexander kicked a fire coral by mistake. He suffered severe burns to his leg, which had to be amputated. Meg spent the rest of the morning whittling a wooden leg out of a log found on shore. Just kidding, with a little vinegar treatment, they came out good as new. But for the most part, our dive was filled with swimming through coral and communing with fish. Logan was lucky enough to lay his eyes on a graceful angel fish (they kissed). Lizzy was able to get a good video of the wreckage, and Alexis saw a crab. After our dive, we enjoyed another meal made with love and passion. We had a build-your-own Chipotle-style taco bar. This was sufficient to energize us after our eventful dive. After lunch, Mimi and Avery had quite a conversation on the nets about siblings and swimming. Now it was time to get serious… it was time for school. Shane started by explaining what the quota would be for the sailing class, and Nicole followed with the leadership class.

During leadership class, we played a game, and I got to be a jalapeno! Payton ended up winning the game using his complex strategy. After our lessons, we started our ocean showers. This evolved into everybody scaling the ship and jumping into the water. Lanna was able to throw a triple backflip off the boat, and Hayes, Jack, and Andrew bravely jumped off the bow. After the showers, we had free time. Sadie made string bracelets and took a nap, Laney played guitar, Maya played cards with Emily and Ella, and Francis read her favorite book. After our free time, we had some delicious chicken curry and did our nighttime jobs.

At the end of the day Henry came into the chart house while I was typing this and farted on me>:( (he is NOT forgiven)

All my love to my diary,
Brig
