Its been many days at sea. The crew is barely holding it together. I fear the sea madness hath reached them, and the gallows lingers not far behind. In the morning, I had watch, and I awoke for four hours of duty. We watched the ocean with our keen eyes and awaited grub. Mates: Theo, James, and Max took the navigation master exam, so our team was a few men short. Madness consumed Theo as he morphed into a man possessed during the exam. Dawgs in the air, mind lost somewhere at sea. We listened to a gossip podcast to pass the time on these godless seas. Audrey and Emma did many burpees at the bow to stay physically and mentally fit. The day dragged on as they do when youve been lost at sea as long as I. Grace Nielson and I reminisced on the earthly delights we missed from the mainland, such as ice cream and Fanta. Macare, McDonald, and Sir James whipped up a hardy meal fit for our crew: a pot of potatoes and chili. While some were lost to the ground, we had plenty to fill our stomachs under the hot sun.

Post fuel consumption, we had some education in the saloon. For leadership, we finished watching Invictus, which raised spirits for the crew. For Oceanography, we listened to a lecture and then watched a BBC nature documentary. This particular film had footage produced by our very own captain, Tom. Elusive footage of whale birth was captured by his drone, which subsequently crashed. Some studied before our final meal time. For dinner, we had chicken, potato, and delectable biscuits. Suddenly, the sea didnt seem so rough after all. We ended the day by discussing who wed like to play us in a film if our crew were to perish. The sun set on the quiet sea, and we all retreated to our quarters. It is a calm day today, but I can not be sure what awaits in future days of passage.
