Today started with sailing. We were sailing overnight from Porto Azzurro to Civitavecchia. It was a long night of watches, but it was worth it to get into the port. Since we had not cleaned Argo completely since we got on it 11 days ago, we had a boat appreciation day. It was filled with random chores around the boat to make her look even more beautiful. Now I know this might not sound like very much fun, but when you are surrounded by all of your friends, laughing and listening to music, it really is. We split up into three teams. The outside of the boat, the inside of the boat, and a small group went to get food for the upcoming days. After we had cleaned up lunch, it was time to start class. Since all of us were tired from sailing the night before, we had an interactive class where we learned how to identify different types of fish. It got intense. Everybody was trying to identify the fish first. After the class, people started working on homework and hanging out, followed by dinner. Everybody seems pretty tired, so I think it will be an early night. Overall today was a pretty fun day, and I can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store.
