Location: Underway to St. Helena
The journey has begun, my friends! We are now underway to St. Helena. We left the marina at the same time as the Ocean Race boats, who were also making their way towards Brazil, albeit the long way.
The winds are strong, blowing at 40 knots, and we are making our way steadily at 10 knots towards St. Helena with our Main Staysail, Foreward Staysail, and a double-reefed main sail.
We had our first meal, a sea which resulted in a graveyard of pasta, but eventually got the hang of it. Now we are off to bed and watch rotations for our first night underway!
