Location: Underway to Komodo
The day started off early with watch team 2 (the best watch team) on the 12-4 am watch. We saw a lot of lightning and even got rained on a little at the end. Overall, it was a pretty chill watch. After watch, I slept and then eventually woke up around 9 am. It was a typical morning underway, with the crew waking up at different times unless they were on watch. Lunch was a hearty spring roll bowl with some great fruit on the side made by chef Bo. During lunch, we were back on watch, and it was super awesome. Once lunch and cleanup were over, we had our first Emergency First Responder (EFR) class that we had to take in order to get the ball rolling on our Rescue Diver certifications. Lolo was great at teaching the class, and we had a lot of fun practicing our primary assessments on each other. The day continued with refreshing deck showers after EFR class. Dinner was an amazing burrito bowl followed by the daily squeeze.
