Location: Secret Bay, St Vincent

Ready for another amazing day in the Caribbean, the crew was up for breakfast and soon off to dive sessions. We had our first Navmaster Exams with many passing scores. Today’s dive spot was amazing. The large reef supported many different coral, fish, urchins, eels, and more! Without a doubt one of the coolest reefs I have ever explored. We also visited the shore and attempted to climb palm trees for coconuts as we have little provisioned food options on the boat now that everyone’s snacks have been gone since passage. We had sunshine and light rain showers throughout the day, but overall good weather. The small bay we are anchored in is one-of-a-kind. It provides Vela with privacy, making it feel like we are on an uninhabited island. Our meals were great, thanks to Grace and her sous chef crew. The morning dive group is currently doing their night dive. We expect to have all members back tonight. The remaining crew is studying for more our next batch of tests. Thanks for another full day, Vela!
