Location: A Secret Cove, St Vincent

This morning I woke everyone up to the nice soothing music of island boy, with a nice combination of the cantina band song from star wars. It was one of the easier wake-ups besides the fact that I forgot to tell James that he was head chef, so breakfast was a little late. After breakfast, we started our emergency first responder course. In class, we learned all about CPR and how to help someone to stop choking. We all took turns giving back shots to each other. It was great practice. For lunch, we had some crepes, and James had stashed away the Nutella that Dylan bought for the meal because he thought people would steal it.

After lunch, some people took a practice Navmaster exam. Others had the afternoon off to do whatever we wanted. I swam around for a while with Bubba and Helga (Helayna), and we saw a lot of cool reefs and such. Eventually, we realized that we were very far from the boat, and the current was taking us out, but it ended up being fine since we’re all back here, and I’m writing the blog now. I got very sunburnt today, and now my hair is scratching my back. It is quite annoying. Anywho we were hanging out on deck after snorkeling, and some island folk came up to vela on kayaks, so we talked to them for a short while. They wanted me to give them a water bottle, but I couldn’t afford not to have my water bottle for the rest of the time in the Caribbean. I thought about using someone else’s and pretending that it just disappeared, but I didn’t want them to retaliate and harm any of my bottles. For dinner, we had some bread stuffed with meat things that were pretty good. James highly exceeded my expectations. After dinner, we all discussed what our longest toenail was, the dirtiest toenail, as well as any interesting facts that you might have about your toenails. After that, we all put our feet on Joe.
