Hey guys! It’s me again.
Today started off nicely with the well-missed 7:00 am wake-up. After a nice granola breakfast, we had classes in Marine Bio, where we took our second to last exam, and Oceanography, where we learned about pollution in the ocean (spoiler alert: pollution is not cool). After that, we had a mini BA day, and we got Vela all nice and clean after the long passage. Unfortunately, Arden, Garrett, Jamie, and I all struggled to put the sail cover on the forward staysail, but we got it eventually. Yay teamwork! By the time we finished, we were all nice and sweaty, so we decided to go for a nice shower/swim, which was also well missed. We finished the day with a sunset hike (our first time on land in three weeks) and a great dinner. We’re all looking forward to the days to come and our time in the Caribbean.
