Location: Statia

Today started off well with a satisfying breakfast, no class, and dinghies to shore. All shipmates and staff were back on board by lunchtime, followed by our dive on the Charlie Browne – a cable-laying ship purchased for $1 and sunk intentionally off the coast of Statia. The dive included an exciting 100ft long penetration through the wreck, which everyone enjoyed. Once we returned to Ocean Star, the books came out until dinner time. Nautical Science is scheduled for this evening, and we’re all working hard to hand in our Oceanography research projects tomorrow morning.
