Location: Tobago Cays
Today began relatively early for some shipmates aboard Ocean Star as they blinked the sleep out of their eyes and jumped in the water for the last of their Navigation dives before breakfast. Shortly following delicious eggs and bacon with a side of Soursop fruit, oceanography class was held in the salon. The rest of the morning and the afternoon were free for everyone to choose their own adventure. Some worked on research projects, snorkeled the reefs in search of sea turtles or tried their hand at windsurfing, while others ventured shoreward to explore the surrounding cays or enjoyed some relaxation time on the boat. Tobago Cays is truly a peaceful paradise; everywhere you look could be a postcard- so every wins- no matter what they choose. This evening Matt and Thad cooked up a delicious meal with fresh local fish, risotto and coleslaw. Well finish the evening with a marine biology class and tomorrow we raise anchor to see what Mayreau has in store for us!
