Location: Port de Gustavia, St.Barths

We woke up earlier than usual today to say goodbye to our fellow crew member, Mike. He was an essential part of this boat, and we can still hear his laugh/cry and whale noises. It was a sad morning, but the day was easily turned around by all the fun in Gustavia. Some of us flocked over to the high cliffs of Shell Beach for some extreme jumping, while some relaxed in a caf enjoying drinks and the WIFI we rarely find. We strolled around Gustavia, popping into expensive stores (usually coming out empty-handed) or settled down at a creperie to have a delicious meal. During Siesta, Geraldine and Kyle gave class presentations on Venezuela and Photography. After class, some of the crew went for an optional scuba dive, and the rest of us lounged on deck, waiting for dinner. We finished OCB class after dinner with just enough time to walk Gustavia in search of an amazing dessert. It was our last night in the gorgeous Gustavia, and I think we could’ve stayed here until day 80. Substituting Skipper of the Day, Josh Freeman
