Location: Deshaies, Guadeloupe

We rose at 04:30 to do our dawn dive at the Jacque Cousteau Marine Park on Julia’s birthday. It was an exciting dive, especially being underwater as the sun rose. When we returned, we ate a delicious breakfast of blintzes and motored to Deshaies, Nips, and Kevin worked on their craft work underway, carving coconut shells and calabash. We had some shore time in Deshaies and then a scheduling meeting. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of tropical chicken, pineapple rice, sweetcorn fritters, freshly baked bread, and flaming bananas, expertly prepared by Sarah and Drew. Then prepared the boat for a passage to Antigua and got some rest. Yipekaya.
