Today marks our Thousandth mile traveled since we left the British Virgin Islands. The crew has settled into their daily duties. Another fish (a tuna) was caught early this morning and was later prepared as sushi by our chefs for lunch (it was delicious). Argo continues to sail forth propelled by what the staff called the best weather they’ve ever had. Class aboard Argo provides us with better understanding of Sailing. Today the we learned how sails work on sailboats, Maritime laws, and methods of contacting other ships during an emergency. The sheer amount of teamwork that the crew displays is incredible concerning the short amount time we have known each other. We are able to raise and lower sails at speeds I believed were only possible by a group that had worked together for years. This group has grown significantly in the past nine days and I am proud to be a part of the crew here on Argo.
